Nawishta was formed in 2020 by four poetry enthusiasts living in Dubai who have in 

common a burning passion to promote poetry. Ehya Bhojpuri, Shadab Ulfat, Sarwar 

Nepali and Madhav Noor, all well-known poets in India and abroad are the founders of Nawishta.

From 2022, Nawishta is registered cultural society under society registration act 21, 1860  

in Patna under the leadership of Mr. Naushad Alam a well-known property developer 

and builder of India. His charitable work, love and passion for the cultural and literature is well known to society.

Nawishta chose Patna as its first venue being virgin territory when it came to 

poetry symposiums. On 17th July 2022, Nawishta hosted a grand Mushaira in Patna which 

saw an exuberant crowd of 800 plus poetry enthusiasts flocking and cheering the poets.

With the exciting success in Patna behind it Nawishta has chosen Mumbai as its next destination for a poetic event. 

Nawishta again organized in successive year 2023 a Mehfil-e-Mushaira in Patna which have been watched by millions on social media.

Since Cultural events foster community, celebrate diversity, preserve traditions, encourage creativity, and promote understanding, enhancing social connections and enriching lives. Nawishta is coming bigger this year with PATNA CULTURAL FEST 2024.
